Don't play a travel sport if you can't commit to it, simple. Multiple sports during the same season is why rec is a great option. I know many who do rec to play more than one sport. This person's kid has no business in travel and isn't making a highly competitive team/going to college for soccer with no actual commitment to the sport so what's the point in travel? There is nothing wrong with rec so I don't get why this poster is acting like it's beneath them. [/quote]
