Missing one practice a week and at most 2 games you've made abundantly clear at the start of the season is one thing. Missing half the season 'juggling' multiple sports is not just selfish but disrespectful to everyone else on the team. Pick a lane or sport that's an off season sport to your travel sport. Parents and players will 100% judge and dislike you for doing this in rec as well. It's extremely rude to sign up for a team sport and not show up. Once again, personal experience and you will be talked badly about and the other players will judge your player for this behavior and resent your player's play time that takes away from the players who actually show up.
