He retired in 2019 after 30 years of teaching.  (Incidentally, this worked out to be great timing on his part, purely by accident.  Didn't have to deal with the pandemic at all, professionally.)[/quote]

This is missing the point that Dr. Dell wrote that in 2012. There were admissions changes before the most recent, most drastic ones, of course. They've been fiddling with the admissions system basically since the school opened.[/quote]
