When there is something that I want to do, and I want them to join me, I say "Hey! I'm going to go _____, and you are invite!" They usually both jump on it, and then enjoy themselves, and I get to enjoy myself, too. Subtley different than "Do you want to ____?" but it somehow works for us. [/quote]
