But I don't think it benefits me to live in a society in which there is an ever-widening gap between the haves and the have-nots. Even ignoring the deadly effects of white liberal guilt, I think I'm better off in a place where talent has the widest opportunity to express itself. I want my doctor to be the person who got a good education because that was an option for everyone, not the only person whose parents could afford to pay for medical school (or give them stock they sold off a little at a time).

I want people to be able to start businesses because they could get a loan from a bank, not because they borrowed from their parents. I want business owners to be able to afford insurance for their employees because the individual mandate meant cost-sharing meant affordable prices. And I want businesses to have a large pool of well-educated potential employees to choose from[/quote]
