In defense of my husband, LOL, Kentuck Knob is a much less exciting house than Fallingwater.  Some rooms are quite small and crowded to view.  To me the highlight was the Princess Diana autographed picture in her black "divorce revenge" dress on a bedroom dresser.

I think there were age restrictions and our kids were not allowed inside at all based on age.

I agree that there is little inside Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater to interest the averagely intellectual child.  If you are architects, you may indeed have better luck.  I thought Fallingwater's interior was pretty boring when I was a high school senior.  Because, due to its radical 1930s design sensibilities, it looked rather like 1960s mass & motel architecture from my childhood in California.
