The only difference was that we do not have the social media we have today where celebrities lives are splashed everywhere on a 24/7 basis.  I was in my thirties when he was dating this naive girl and no one thought it was cool.  It was cringeworthy and he would not have survived had it been in today's media world.  Still see him as creepy.  Didn't he also steal his wife from a man she was engaged to which is why he broke up with the younger girl?  Nevertheless, once a creep, always a creep.
