How old are you?
40
I'm 65 and I use streaming. Donate all your CDs, or throw them out. Invest 10 bucks a month to Spotify. I love it so much, it's the best $$ I spend every month. Music, podcasts, anything I want.
50 year old here, and I am full on streaming. My sister has a CD player in her car, and a CD got stuck in it while trying to eject, so device was stuck ON even when the car was off and was killing her battery. A mechnical player like that is fraught with problems. If you like music, there are a ton of streaming NPR stations for classical, country, jazz, alternative and spotify has a free option which has some ads. But if you are buying a new luxury car, I assume the $11 month for spotify won't be a hardship...
