OP here, OMG these stories about test conditions sound crazy. As far as test, looking at that reddit thread, it sounds like the digital math SAT is much more difficult than the old paper SAT?
My kid is very strong in math and Desmos. He got a perfect score on math on PSAT. Not surprised he got the harder math module 2 but he said it was insanely hard - he wasn’t able to answer the final few free response questions, ran out of time. Otherwise he felt good about the rest of the test
YES! This is my daughter. She is great at math, perfect math PSAT, ran out of time before the final 3 free response questions. Left them blank. We are wondering (hoping) that 1 (or 2!) of them were experimental problems that will be thrown out. She's considering going straight to the end of the test in June to see if she can complete the final free response questions (assuming they will also be at the end of that test) because if she finds herself running out of time with the multiple choice she can at least make educated guesses. I posted in another thread about what people are using to study for this thing (she needs practice problems at that level). Apparently the College Board uploaded harder practice tests? It's frustrating because these final math problems don't mirror anything in the realm of published practice problems.
