I would donate to a local shelter or nonprofit when we left. If you are renting a car bring your own carseat. The rental companies will kill you on a per day charge. When we were new parents we made this mistake and ended up paying more in rental fees for seat than we did for the top of the line one we left at home. Invest in a car seat backpack. They are not cheap but will make your life soooooo much easier. [/quote]
