Mean take -- they are couching straight up brags as "a message" to someone else, in an effort to disguise that they are just bragging about their kids. FWIW, I find this behavior less annoying than married couples who post gushing "I love you" posts directed at their spouse for birthdays and anniversaries. You live together, you couldn't have just shared that directly?
