OP here and I agree with taking sourceless posts with a grain of salt. But the man just oozes self-interest and superciliousness and, at least for me, I'd be more surprised if anyone actually likes him irl than the opposite. Contrast Vindman's behavior with Spanberger, the latter of whom has spent the last 6+ years criss-crossing the district and meeting with all rungs of people from all walks of life. Police officers, immigrants, small business owners, education leaders, health care workers, farmers, municipal governments. I adore Spanberger and plan on writing her name in this November.

How Vindman's brother and wife internet attacked Joshua Cole (D-65) last year was especially outrageous with Cole merely having asked the same question that many other democrats in our district were asking: "He lives here? Where's he been all year?" Vindman was, of course, nowhere to be found during all of the 2023 local house and senate races. I don't think this treatment of Joshua Cole is an anomaly: if Vindman can't use you to further his own interests, you are a roach to be stepped on.[/quote]

Wow, there was no attack and that is NOT how Cole asked. It was also unnecessary...they are not even running in the same election. I guess Cole had someone else he wanted to endorse, but it was so unprofessional.[/quote]

I’m sorry but her response to that comes off unhinged. There’s a reason Spanberger held onto this seat even when it drew in some heavily Republican areas, people knew her, she made an effort to connect with people and articulate her positions on the issues (and assure them that she was not an AOC style Democrat).
