Why is everything so damn boxy??
THIS!!!! A few years ago, Banana Republic made some great t shirts. At least for me - they were fitted in all the right places but not clingy. Now they are paper thin and see through. GAP t shirts are fine for winter when I wear them under things but on their own - they are shapeless. Who makes a good white t shirt for someone in their 40's who does not have a perfect body but does not want a tent or a boxy fit??
The struggle is real! I feel the same about BR tees- why’d they have to ruin a good thing. I’ve had decent luck with Pact tees. I like the Rag and Bone slub tees too when they go on sale.
I posted above but this exact price point (BR) used to have dependably nice, fitted clothes for regular professionals and ppl who wanted dress nicely without a huge amount of effort and clothes hunting and fussy styles. It's completely gone now.
