He returned her mom's lost sunglasses thar night because it was on his way home. He actually went home first, changed clothes and then went to her place and was planning to then meet up with a friend after dropping off the glasses. He wanted to do this because he knew her and it would look good to his boss. I think OJ planned to kill her quickly and get on a plane for his alibi. The stories he and his team promoted about drug dealers being responsible was what he thought he would be able to blame it on. His alibi was to have been that he was be out of town whike this bizarre killing toom place--he thought it would look like a hit or some random attack.

Ron coming into the situation chaged that. It took longer for him to kill both and he got flustered, lost his hat and a glove and got back to his house later than planned and the limo driver saw him go inti the house. I think he had planned to be home before that.

I just re-watched the ESPN documentary and the American Crime Story miniseries. Both are excellent.
