[/quote] Your neighbor can go weed someone's garden and make $70 an hour advertising on one of these online setups or can run errands or go wait on line for someone for $30 an hour. Very few people want to do eldercare unless you make it very easy and offer plenty of downtime. 1-2 hour a day gigs usually pay very well and make it worth it. For eldercare, even if you only expect 2 hours of actual work (making meal, giving meds, going for walk) you should hire for 4 hours so it's worth the drive unless you want to offer premium pay.[/quote]
