I’m an outdoor runner who has never liked treadmills but I got the new tread plus a month ago and am obsessed. Love the content, the auto incline that syncs with class, and the belt feels great on my legs that take a beating daily on the roads. I’m still in the honeymoon period but so far Very happy with it. It is an enormous machine though.
The tread plus really is enormous. I disassembled and moved mine myself because the crew that came to move it wouldn’t do it because a small set of stairs was involved. I did it with my neighbor and a dolly. What a horrendous experience that was. So that’s a long way of saying anybody that gets one should be confident where it is placed. As far as maintenance, there is no real guidance. I found an old Reddit thread about some zerk fittings for grease. I haven’t successfully managed to get peloton to send somebody to install the new rear guard, so I’ll see if those techs have anything to say about the grease zerks. Otherwise, total tank. Like 6-7/min miles for 2 hour at a time tank, repeatedly. The regular peloton tread is just a belt tread, so that’s a hard no. And the new wahoo one is also just a belt tread, which was a huge disappointment for endurance dorks out there.
I have no idea how you disassembled and moved it yourself! That’s seriously impressive.
