https://bethesdasoccer.leagueapps.com/events/4219148-2024-25-boys-dmsabethesda-royal-tryouts Tryout info. It looks like they are staying in the hyattsville area for practices. It’s a bit misleading to say that they are included in a roster eligible for MLSNext and ECNL teams. Any player at that level would have left DMSA already and not sure whether the training you’ll get as part of the a new DMSA/BSC team will get you to that level, if they won’t be training with the top teams.
Exactly. The Dematha coach also works for Bethesda and he's basically stringing along families in PG County who dont understand the soccer landscape and think he'll help them get scholarships to play soccer at Dematha. The club is a hot mess and charges Bethesda like fees for D level training and subpar tournament access. Families and top players were threatening to leave when they came up with this rouse and are hoping that the Bethesda name will help them recruit. If your child has rec level talent, but you want to pay travel level prices, then fall for it. Otherwise, if your child is good and wants to be on talented well coached teams, there are several much better options in PG County.
