No, it was tired to Easter, the 3rd quarter just so happened to fall at the same time. Had Easter been a week later Spring break would have absolutely been a week later

They did try to move it at parent request and the teachers who live out-of-county flipped over the non-aligned spring breaks. FCPS understandably moved it to accommodate their employees. If you get all of northern Virginia to do it together it will happen.[/quote]

oh I am well aware of that, and while, as a parent, I loved the year they didn't align with the other counties/didn't couple with Easter. I understand how from a logistical standpoint that year was terrible for teachers who live and work in different counties. I wish we could align with surrounding counties and pick a set week like the last week of March. I hate that it follows Easter, especially in years like 2025 where Easter is mid April.[/quote]
