Central Park and then the Frick. Albertine if you need some new French language books. Saint Ambroeus for gelato or Cafe Sabarsky at the Neue. Or Central Park and then lunch at the bar at Nougatine.

Walk down the Highline and then go to The Whitney. You’ll be there during the Biennial. From there wander down towards lunch through the West Village. Tartine, Cafe Cluny, they’re all good

Walk Brooklyn Bridge. In Brooklyn walk the boardwalk and get ice cream at Van Leeuwen ice cream.

Wander around ABC Carpet & Home bc it’s awesome. People-watch in Union Square. Shop for beautiful art books, first editions, anything and everything at The Strand. Grab a coffee at La Colombe and people-watch Washington Square Park. Go see a funky foreign film at the Angelika.

Bryant Park (Rose Room if you need a quiet place to respond to some emails). Snack or drink at Refinery Rooftop bc I’m trying to shoehorn in some rooftop experience while you’re there. Walk through the grand concourse at Grand Central of course. Morgan Library.

If you’re trying to connect diagonally across town (between UES and West Village for example), tell the cab to take FDR. Especially at night. It’s beautiful.[/quote]
