Apparently the other people present on the set for this episode, which was filmed on phone cameras intentionally with the intent to use that video in the film, have all provided affidavits attesting that the scene was discussed in advance with Rebel and she agreed to it - that it was not a prank or harassment but an intentional scene which didn't ultimately make the cut of the film. Rebel was a virgin until the age of 35; maybe her sense of humor about sex in general isn't very developed? I'm all about calling out lecherous men for inappropriate behaviors with partners, coworkers, etc. but I am definitely getting a vibe that she is deliberately attempting to thrown Sacha under the bus - especially considering the prior experience with another actor. Maybe she just didn't like working with him, or maybe she wants her #metoo moment.
Actually, the way she describes the incident with Tom Hardy, SHE sounds like the sexual harasser.
is there a video to this?
There are clips linked in this 2019 article, where she also admits to groping Anne Hathaway's breasts without first discussing her intent to do so 'ad lib' for the scene. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-7013241/Rebel-Wilson-admits-groped-star-Anne-Hathaways-breasts-new-film-Hustle.html I think she's disgusting, now that I've learned this about her. Apparently she thinks nothing of raunchy and very inappropriate sexual harassment when she's dishing it out, but she wants to be a victim to take down Sacha Cohen. She is the kind of woman who undermines the credibility of women who have really been victims of harassment.
