My doctor once refused to allow a generic version of the medication he wanted to prescribe for me because of the huge problems with the generic not being exactly the same. The brand name cost a lot more, but he said the generic version of it "kept him up at night." [/quote] I was under the impression that Compounded semaglutide is a little more than just a brand/generic difference. Pharmacies are adding other stuff to the compounded injections—b12, various salts bonded to the semaglutide that may change the way it works in the body. [/quote]
