I unfriended a slew of people. Everyone uses FB differently. I started out wanted as many "friends" as possible and made friends with pretty much everyone I knew. Then I decided I wanted FB to be a much more honest representation of the people I want in my life and have in my life. So I un-friended the shitty babysitter I'd had 27 years ago. I un-friended my brother's old friend's sister. Unfriended the girl who also posted on an internet forum who I'd met twice. I didn't like her, we just had something in common. Went from over 200 FB friends to under 90. There are still some I'm not close with, but you can't unfriend your Great Uncle Morton who's so proud that he knows how to poke you on FB.
Can you still 'poke' people on FB? I thought they did away with this feature a while ago.. I've unfriended a bunch of people who did not come through for me in the greatest time of need, while knowing I could use at least some moral support. I got seriously pissed and got rid of them. Feel no regret at all, only relief.
