My very average DS has had tremendous success this year with college apps. 86% acceptance rate. Not sure if the SC decision had any positive impact (unlikely) but the trend towards "test-required but we'll pretend to be test-optional" definitely did. Also, the FAFSA numbers would be higher if that darn system worked. However, nothing prevents the government from just using CSS numbers, asking students to now submit CSS profile with 3 free submissions to get over this hump.[/quote]
