I think the license plate "got'cha avenue" is not accurate and wouldn't hold up in any legal system.  Because you are only targeting a small percentage of children at the elementary level.  If you really want to see abuse...look at the high-school level in the athletic departments.  You'll see more MD tags in the parking lot at events rooting their children on than you'll see DC tags.

Hey word-salad lady - you've been highlighted over on the favorite DCUM posters thread.  Love the use of "heralded".

But do you really think kids are coming in from MD to play sports in DCPS?  The sports programs are not as strong as even PG county,and certainly not as strong as MCPS.  What's the draw?  The number of DCPS all-met kids is tiny.  Based on a quick look at last year - in Basketball there were 2 on the 1st through 4th teams, both from Coolidge.  In football there were 4 total on 1st and second teams, from Woodson, Dunbar and Friendship Collegiate.  DeMatha and Good Counsel probably had more all mets individually than all of DCPS combined.  CH Flowers and Suitland in PG did well too.[/quote]
