Have you ever explored Scandinavian fashion? They do a lot of dresses layered over pants, and I think the effect can be very cute. Check out the website below. In addition to dresses over leggings, they also do dresses over loose linen pants sometimes, which I think can look cute if the proportions and colors are right. I would just let go of adhering to current fashion trends and carve out a sense of style that works for you personally. Often the best dressers are the ones who just eschew trends and wear clothes that are right for their bodies and their lives.[/quote]
