US Soccer is poorly run but they have demonstrated an understanding of whats going on globally. The Emma Hayes hiring is brillant because of her track record with Euro academies, she will be an amazing coach, and trust shes going to start poo pooing the college system that second she knows how pointless it is in producing world clas players. Plenty of GA player on those rosters. What's your point? What you are missing, and not comparing here, just helping those disinformed be better informed, so that they are not misinformed. This is not a either or choice its academy development (pro-pathway eventually) and college.
