I would assume most folks posting are of a certain class that can afford pay to play. US Soccer knows to maximize talent in the US they need a model that doesn't miss players becuase they can't afford it. GA clubs especially some of the newest additions are community, grassroot, and localized in immigrant communities mainly. There is a reason GA families aren't flipping out about the big name clubs leaving, because those clubs clearly want to focus on competition in the strongest league for that, so let them to go to ECNL, we'll just replace them other clubs that are better aligned with our leagues mission. Only people insecure about GA's necessary role in the marketplace are ECNL families who are not seeing a return on their investment or are stuck in RL with prospects of going NL. [/quote]
