Better lock your homes and secure them like a fortress before you head out of town. You are in more danger of being robbed blind in DC (or carjacked) than being attacked by anyone voting in a way you don't approve. I would be more concerned about the violent protests that will happen if Trump wins..... like in 2016. https://www.cbsnews.com/video/violent-protests-break-out-after-trump-sworn-in/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mr0i6piW_ak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGUCq5fpMGo
I came here to say this. If Trump wins, I fully expect the city to burn. And unlike republicans that took it to the Capitol only, these mostly peaceful protesters will set homes and businesses alight.
Your first link is to a photo of what appears to be a very small LGBTQ+ protest with no sign of violence at all. Just the link to the photo you provide has the word "violent" for no apparent reason. The other two are video of the small but destructive, black bloc, anarchist group (the ones in black) that staged a protest during Trump's inauguration -- they were not Biden supporters or "liberals." They also were also in a different part of the city from the inauguration. They were arrested and prosecuted. The world-wide protests against Trump specifically were peaceful. No one attempted an insurrection.
