They are not supposed to and I would recommend emailing the RT and assistant principal about this.  Unfortunately, this is happening more often because teachers are stretched thin with all the tasks they are being assigned by administration.  Teachers used to be able to focus their time on lesson development, grading and feedback.  Now time is being wasted on useless meetings, documentation of documentation, and focusing a tremendous amount of attention on no show students and those that don't do anything.  Teachers should be posting grades regularly but I see how some fall behind and have a hard time catching up.  [/quote]

Not true. DD's grade is almost all tests and quizzes but tests have not been graded so even though she does all her work on time she has no idea how she is doing.[/quote]
