When I think about the bits of bad things others do in daily life, I also want to hope that there is some sort of karma for them. But then I see the harm some of the world leaders of our time like BN, VP and DT, have done, deliberately hurting people left and right, without consequence, then I’m thinking my hopes of karma are fairly unfounded. Sorry OP, I would like to offer encouragement but the last three years of world events alone make me think otherwise. We can still try to be the best we can towards others though, because we are still able to tell the difference.
I agree with you, it seems hopeless. It's like little personal experiences often seem karmic but big picture, national stage does not present fair. We don't know about behind the scenes but I don't think bad people feel guilt and often good people feel guilt they don't deserve (wanting to carry the world on their shoulders). There is still a lot of child abuse, slavery, and thinking I deserve my good tidings because I'm kind is ridiculous.
