She would also need nearly perfect grades.[/quote] I don't want to sound like a jerk, but if you're being told by a coach that your kids needs near perfect grades, then either your kids is a very low priority for the coach, or the college truly doesn't support the sport. My kid is at a D3 top academic college and got in with the coach's support during ED, despite significantly below average (for this college) stats.[/quote]
