When you have people that want to make elective abortion legal up to the point of birth, it becomes very much an ethical and political issue.

No other country allows for abortion in last trimester without a medical reason because doing so is gruesome and chips away at our humanity.

Why is it so important to you that you can kill a viable life just for convenience? It is just as insane as people that believe an embryo is fully formed person.

Here are the statistcs from the CDC showing that in 2021, .9% of reported abortions took place after 21 weeks of gestation.  93.5% took place less than 13 weeks of gestation.  Late-term abortion is NOT a widespread practice.
