The reason for the ridiculous try out times is two-fold:  1. different sports are competing for limited field space, and, 
2. Its damn hot and humid in August. I'd much rather my kid be at soccer or football practice at 7am in August than anytime between 11-3[/quote]

It’s definitely an inconvenience. WFH has been our plan. We just scheduled breaks for the times we needed to drop off and pick up or just took leave. Also there were lots of sleepovers so that kids could carpool. [/quote]

HS varsity soccer has been a huge disappointment for my DD. She expected a much higher quality soccer especially when there were a handful of ECNL players on the team. The coach didn’t know what possession soccer if it hit him in the face.  Join HS soccer if you want to have fun but not for quality soccer. [/quote]
