Not a shock to me.

Kid was 1550 SAT, 3.98 uw (4.5 wgtd), job, year-round athlete for 4 years, dual enrollment with all As in the college courses. Flat out rejected. Not a legacy. But he was out of state. I don't know if you're in VA or not, but I'm assuming you are.

+1.. OP, you are way out of line.  Legacy doesn't count anymore, especially for small donations.  Your child's GPA and test scores were too low.  Didn't your high school counselor tell you this? and show you SCHEV, NAVIANce or SCIOR?[/quote]
