Hello, I grew up in the UK so i'm not familiar of how things are done here. I just got an email from my kids teacher saying "Students are welcome to bring Valentines for their classmates and exchange them on Wednesday. Please be sure to include all of the students in your classroom." What does this mean? Are these hand written/drawn valentines card for each student and a gift? If so what kind of gift? Where do you get your cards from? Do you give anything to the teachers? TIA!
You just go to the store - grocery store or someplace like that - and buy the valentines in boxes. No one hand makes them these days. There are too many. Then you have your kid write the name of each classmate on a valentine, so that there is one for each kid. I always got the valentines that came with a lollipop, and then the lollipop would attach to the card. Some years I went further and sent in a little gift bag with a few pieces of nut-free candy and maybe a Valentine pencil. But a card is usually enough, or maybe a card with a lollipop taped to it.
