Are there counties in the state that do this?[/quote] The requirement is: 4 credits,1 including instruction in algebra aligned with the MCA for algebra or 1 or more credits in subsequent mathematics courses for which Algebra 1 is a prerequisite, and 1 with the content standards for geometry. The content standards for geometry would be met in this scenario. They could work with the state to determine the best point in the sequence to take the Alg1 MCAP.[/quote]
