When I want really good Detroit style, I use the Serious Eats recipes with some personal modifications. When I want to get dinner on the table with minimal effort, I use the one from the King Arthur baking site (actually a pretty good resource for simple recipes). Both are serviceable but the crust and sauce on the Serious Eats version is better. It's just more time consuming, so I'm more likely to make that on a weekend or if we have guests. I use the KA one for a weeknight when I'm tired. Had it tonight and it scratched the itch.[/quote]
