Most kids are at least doggy paddling before kindergarten.[/quote] Most of the 6-7yos at our pool tend to be on the pre-team, but I agree there is a big swim culture here. Belonging to a community pool and swimming all summer goes a long way to becoming proficient in the water, even if you aren't on a team.[/quote]
