BSC = best representation of a club with a style and it's a possession based ideology. Should be noted though that the best teams will figure out some mix during a match because it's all about problem solving during it if the base style isn't producing.
Bethesda has great individual players because they have the whole county and it is a great diverse county. Like most of America, they possess well when they are the better team. Possession teams tend to do much better in the older age groups. Bethesda teams do better in the younger age groups where good individuals shine and their teams get worse as they get older. I don’t think anyone would say Bethesda has good coaching. They just have no competition.
BSC has great individual players becuase of money, or the wealth of the county that they are the only show in town for, true. These girls been doing privates since 8-9 years old, thats a serious investment before you start shelling out 7-10k each season in ECNL. You are correct that there is no competition in the DMV when the games matter like league and playoffs, not showcases/scrimmages and meaningless tournaments at the beginning and end of the season. Playing in the North Atlantic for ECNL is all the competion they need. They have a monoply in MoCo, recruit from the rest of the surrounding counties in MD and sometimes even from NoVA, and then play the best competion on the East coast up in North in Jersey and PA
Agreed. I meant competition for players in Montgomery County. Yeah the guys that do the private training are more responsible for the success of Bethesda than the coaching staff.
