[/quote] I don’t think it’s a “grievance attitude” to point out factors that are expressly stated as part of the criteria for getting in. VT has said they have a goal of having 40% first Gen students. No other VA college has that publicly stated. I’m not saying I don’t understand the waitlist, but he definitely had a shot to being accepted. [/quote]
