[/quote] That's background information to give you a history of how turf fields are funded from a variety of source, including field trip money. Yeah. The 2025 budget is linked in parents coalition so you can see turf fields as a line item in it. Read through it all. People seem to hate Parents Coalition, but she provides a valuable service for the rest of the county, combing through budgets, filing freedom of information requests, and staying on it to publicize the inequities. I wish field trip money went toward buying pencils, copier paper, and composition notebooks, but evidently, it goes to artificial turf.[/quote]
