Is it a quarter grade or a semester grade?
Quarter grade, but got E the 1st quarter so his grade are E E. LD student with ADHD taking Spanish 1A.
My ADHD/low processing/learning disabled son managed to graduate MCPS with a wgpa of 4.6, OP. He had an IEP, resource class, extended time, typing accommodations, etc. We tried many different ADHD meds over the years, at many different doses. We taught him study skills, and paid for tutors. He took two languages to AP level. A 59.5 is officially a D. Anything lower is an E. You need to get a tutor for your son, possibly tweak his ADHD meds, and teach him study skills. The class has standards that he is not meeting, and that's not the teacher's fault. Many SN kids don't do well with live languages, so if you think he's not going to progress well, see if his school has ASL, or Latin. Since there's no speaking requirement, sometimes those can be easier.
