We are in-state and CS is an unbelievably competitive admit. Our friend's DC (high stats, great ECs, had already taken some college level CS courses) was not admitted to UNC but was admitted at an equal/superior program elsewhere. He was plenty qualified; there are just not enough spots. However, I have no idea if transferring in is possible. I would imagine that's an even harder admit.[/quote]
