DP, but this affects staff members as well. Most staff members DO travel during Spring Break, and I'd say the vast majority of my kid's elementary school and middle school does travel for Spring Break, so its really not uncommon at all actually. I have friends all over the county with Spring Break plans so my kid's schools aren't outliers. [/quote]

Not just travel, it’s one of the few times we can schedule medical appointments for ourselves and children without needing a sub.we schedule these many months out for this sole reason[/quote]

Central office won't care because it doesn't affect them. They can telework whenever they want. Screw the people doing the actual work.
