I was miserable, hiking alone, and I'm scared of heights/cliffs and some of the path is fairly narrow and I was terrified and overheated.  There is a beautiful spot to jump in the water when you get to the bottom (rocky) and I leapt right in and felt SO much better but the heat was a lot.

If you have time, I highly recommend visiting Cassis (closer to Marseille).  Water is nice and cold, basically no waves and perfect for swimming, and it's not nearly as hot. 
It's a beautiful little town with lots to do. It was my favorite spot on my trip. [/quote]
