Same day implants are not a good idea. It takes 3-6 months for the bone graft to take, grow and solidify. There should be no pressure placed on the area in that time. When the implant post is placed, you need another 3-6 months for the bone to heal around the post, not to mention settling the swelling around the gums before the crown molding. [/quote]
