Thank goodness my RE was monitoring things - we were able to catch it before it ruptured and I was able to do the methotrexate shots (it took 2) . Most OB's don't want to see you until you are 8 weeks along - by that point, you are in danger of having it rupture. Take my advice, it is well worth getting the ultrasound done at about 6 weeks. And if you have insurance (even if it doesn't cover IVF) it should cover the ultrasound (and bloodwork). [/quote]
