Why do they do this?[/quote] When do you think the recipe changed? A lot of food was reformulated to eliminate trans fats in the last 20 years or so. The trend in corporate America is actually to reduce sugar instead of increase it. Or substitute it with new products like stevia. Campbell's has tried to reduce salt in its mainstream soups but that's not what customers want so they've had to undo the recipe adjustments before. So if it got changed, they were probably reformulating to make it healthier. Perhaps they lowered the salt without changing the amount of sugar.[/quote]
