Its profile absolutely does not work for everyone. I went there for undergrad, made great friends, and yes did receive an excellent education and went on to a top 10 law school. BUT, there is a culture of binge drinking, Greek life reigns, and it is out in the middle of no where. I received a substantial scholarship which was important given my family's finances but I would not have chosen it otherwise. Even though Bucknell definitely gives a huge boost for legacy status, my DD will not be applying there bc she would hate the particular culture. Many of the patriot league schools (colgate, lehigh) have a similar culture and there is nothing wrong with it but it is not the right fit for everyone. [/quote]
