This whole thing just makes me feel gross. I always pay bills on time. I actually did call the medical office and spoke to someone in billing who could see the error on their end. They claim that nobody ever properly input the payment, but that they see it as paid. They told me they have “escalated” the case to another department in the billing department and it should post in 5-7 business days, and then it should drop from collections? Does anyone know if this sounds right? I’m truly thankful for all your help. If not for this post and your help, I’d be a nervous wreck![/quote] Yes that sounds exactly right. [/quote]
